The things you focus on will grow.
So if you focus on what you are thankful for, then you will get into that perspective and get more of it.
Ask yourself everyday (preferredly in the morning):
What am I grateful for today?
It can be gratitude in terms of things you have and relationships with others. But it can also be in regards to yourself.
It does not necessary make life easier because life is like ebb and flow. Up and down.
But is can make the bad times more manageable because your perspective is positive.
And when things are not turning out the way you want, ask yourself the question:
What can I learn from this?
Gratitude is the attitude!
